Oso de Oro

This very special white dessert wine began as a 1997 Chardonnay that we fortified with brandy and aged in French Oak barrels. The barrels were placed in the direct Oregon sun during the peak summer temperatures allowing the wine to develop butterscotch and orange characters while keeping its original bright acidity.
