Wooldridge Creek: Oregon’s First Winery, Creamery and Charcuterie
We invite you to stop in for a tasting of our hand-crafted wine, cured meats and artisan cheeses. Linger awhile, and experience all that is Wooldridge Creek. Our family farm, hillside winery, creamery, and charcuterie overlook the Applegate River Valley and offer stunning views from cozy seating on the crush pad, front patio, and nearby gardens. These spots are comfortable year-round and are the perfect place to enjoy what we make, all while observing the “work in progress.”
While tasting may be the focus of your visit, please take time to look around, or schedule a guided tour. Farming, winemaking, cheesemaking and charcuterie production all happen onsite, and we are proud of our products and our land.
We are more than simply organic. In our daily operation, we care for the soil, the water, the plants and our animals in the best way we know how. We have been farming this land since 1978 and plan to someday pass it along to our kids and grandkids.
In addition to raising our families here, we share this land with countless varieties of wildlife – including hawks, songbirds, turkeys, rabbits, raccoons, deer, bears, coyotes, bobcats, skunks, foxes, possums, and an occasional cougar.
We’re also known for our not-so-wild animal friends. During your visit, be on the lookout for our winery cat and any one of many dogs who are fortunate enough to have found their way here. Be sure to meet the goats, chickens, and miniature donkey and horse who also call this place home.
There is no shortage of beauty to be enjoyed at Wooldridge Creek. Spread out a picnic under the shade of the trees in the summer or cozy up next to a fire in the winter. From classes and tasting workshops to Wine Club release parties with live music and dancing (we do throw a great party), there’s a little something for everyone.
